Custom-built screensavers get more and more popular. Of course, it's fun to download, install and watch for about two minutes a screensaver with pre-set images, for instance, with movie characters or Lake Ontario views, but after the first few minutes you realize that you've had enough of this too predictable thingy. gPhotoShow is a tool that will let you build your own screensavers.
gPhotoShow is a slideshow screensaver that lets you add your own pictures to the image list and display them on the screen. The pictures get shown in a specified period of time with effects in-between that merge one picture with the next. What's more, there's also an option of playing sound files along with the screensaver - anything from MP3 to WMA will do, but you have to have Windows Media Player 6.0 installed for the sounds to play. Both images and sounds can be played in random order.
The screensaver is absolutely free. It doesn't display any nag messages and doesn't show some kind of annoying text message when the screensaver is running. Download it today and create your own screensaver.
